If using the attached MARC file make sure you have an itemtype 'NORMAL' and no branch with brancode 'TEST' 2) Add records and items into catalog using 'manage staged MARC import'. ! Only super librarians can see the funds that do not have restrictions. To me no restriction means that everyone with acq permissions should be able to see and order from the budget. That is good. The bad ting is that the current implementation does not store nulls for numeric values, but 0. In those cases we have no way of knowing if 0 *is* the value, or we should fall back to the next more generic rule. What I have done is: * 0 is treated as null, ie no rule * when selecting rules order of preference is: borrower category, item type, branch All relevant parts of the system need to be tested. I tried Holds, Check Out and Renewals myself. I didn't understand it at all, until Chris helped me and I figured out that it's not 'expected since' but 'on hold since' Perhaps this would work better? on hold for .. at .... since ... This is not sufficient for a multi library setup where different libraries have different fees for each category. In addition to enrollment and hold fees, this change will include two additional fees: renewal fee and duplicate card fee. In the case of renewals there will also be a grace priod.
