A couple options include: - a central routine in the Koha namespace (Koha::Template::Toolbars::Cataloguing?) - a template block that uses template plugins to fetch the required information I'm leaning towards the latter so long as the performance penalty of potential repeated fetches in the database isn't too high. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Why? Now that we have a real ORM, there is no need for a bespoke, imperfect DBMS abstraction module. By replacing the choice of AdvancedSearchTypes with free text, we can allow the library to specify multiple fields, and in their preferred order. Each field can then be put into it's own tab in the search interface, allowing for a more dense storage of values while not sacrificing functionality.
