This also impact the performances of C4::XSLT::XSLTParse4Display. My tests (with Devel::NYTProf) showed a gain of about 65% on C4::XSLT::transformMARCXML4XSLT and 35% on C4::XSLT::XSLTParse4Display. The gain of performances is increasing with the numbers of results. Currently, it is impossible to link a suggestion to a matching catalogue record. Some catalogue records may no longer have items/holdings attached (as they could have been deleted earlier). Also it will be nice that titles accepted for purchase, also appear in OPAC with a similar remark to items on order (i.e. 1 item accepted for purchase). I chose a date range of 4 months, then I chose a library, then I chose a single item type (DVD1week) then I chose 20 for the limit, then I chose "library" for the "By" part of the limit and go an empty list. So I went back and changed "library" to "Itemtype." Now the system just hangs up spinning away without ever giving results. This field would be ignored if blank, but if populated it's data would be used instead of the data in the LOCATION field. The idea is, if you are placing items in a temporary location, like a display, you can actually list the location, but not loose the permanent location.
