Currently the order is given by the sequence the patrons are entered into the list. That sequence is not shown again but defines the arrangement of the patroncards on the sheet. Staff trying to hand out new patron cards need to find these on the sheets. Staff would really appreciate if there was a reliable and obvious order. Implementing ordering has nothing to do with the current feature that batches can be displayed ordered according to currently shown names or card numbers. The display feature is helping to check the batch but is not creating order on the sheets. Implementing ordering should start with entry order but should allow to reorder list items, e.g. to shift a patron that was missing initially and added later into the desired position. If you add a new batch on the resulting screen, the batch_id of the deleted batch will be displayed, but a new one will be used. I used the same machine for the same number of records in koha 3.22 and it takes almost 8 hours to import the data for 30000 records. In 3.20 it was taking only 30 minutes to 1 hour for this activity to be completed. Using Ubuntu 14.04 and 4GB ram machine for importing the data and this is a fresh installation of ubuntu and koha. Iam not sure if this is a issue with KOHA or issue with my koha settings. I already reported in the koha mailing list for any solution to overcome the issue, but not received any response, hence posting it here. When Allowtoomanyoverride is allow, it gives me a warning message do you wan't to override or issue. I feel system should tell that the limit reached. If this is not a system issue and I missed some system settings, please help me in setting the system preferences correctly. Iam using koha 3.22.05. I think there ought to be text explaining the connection, to be shown both on the system preference itself and when the barcode plugin is selected during framework editing. It should be at least text/xml, and with the demise of Internet Explorer 6, arguably application/rss+xml. The cause: prior to that commit, setting the CGI parameter format to rss2 resulted in passing "rss" as the content type parameter to output_with_http_headers; after that commit, rss2 was no longer properly recognized when setting that parameter. This special case concerns a scenario where a borrower is about to get another item of the same periodical title. In such a situation we need to check if the same item was already issued and not the same biblio only. There are borrowers ckecking-out several items if the same title at once. It seems to me that the current solution would ask for N-1 items to "Checkout anyway?". We should ask for repeating items of periodicals only."
