We do not have routing lists enabled so we do not see any of that functionality in our serials module. We have most of the patron notification ‘letter’ flags in each subscription ticked, so users can (in theory) opt-in to receive email messages via the OPAC. A number of users here have, but zero emails are being sent. It appears that the Patron notification options we see when setting up a subscription refer to Routing List (Notices and Slips –RLIST). We don’t use the feature… so no emails are sent. We have 900+ subscriptions with the “opt-in tickbox enabled, but emails don’t get sent. Until we can unravel this problem we want to remove the misleading option- the suggested solution is to use jquery to hide the option on the OPAC for now. Has anyone actually got patron notification working separate from routing list functionality, and if so how? MySQL version 5.5.59-0+deb8u1 (Debian). Everything was fine until I tried to create koha db: # sudo koha-create --create-db lib ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' (using password: YES) I found out that user debian-sys-maint is present on DB. Password, that is written in config file is the right one. The db user has enough privileges. The same problem was happening even if I tried to connect to MySQL with code, written in koha-create script: # mysql --defaults-extra-file=/etc/mysql/koha-common.cnf ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'debian-sys-maint'@'localhost' (using password: YES) I tried wrapping options with quote marks, removing extra spaces in .cnf file but with no result. But somehow everything was fine after I changed option "defaults-extra-file" to "defaults-file". Just in case, these lines are contained in files: • koha-create • koha-remove • koha-reset-passwd • koha-restore (3 times) On installed system you can find them in the /usr/sbin/ folder -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. The problems: 1. The print command needs to be given again and again 2. If there is many barcode/label of several items than same item barcode may scatter in many pages of sheet/roll. 3. Staff may have confusion while pasting barcode/label from different label sheet which is scattered due to printing of multiple copy. Solution: We have already an option "Starting label position (In PDF) as shown in attached screenshot so similarly we may have "Number of copy" option adjacent to it. I'm thinking we should add that to Koha's Perl dependencies. Looking at Debian (https://packages.debian.org/sid/perl/libplack-perl) it looks like the package is recommended but not required. Actually, I don't notice it in https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/blob/master/debian/control either... I'm using Plack v1.0037 whereas Jessie is at v1.0033-1...
