[Bug 23661] New: Check "Hold Pickup Library Match" when placing a hold
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Nov '19

24 Nov '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23661 Bug ID: 23661 Summary: Check "Hold Pickup Library Match" when placing a hold Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 19.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com The Holds Policy By Item Type table in Circ & Fine Rules includes a column for "Hold Pickup Library Match," defining whether or not the pickup library for a hold needs to match the item's home/holding library. This policy is only checked when trying to fill a hold, not when trying to place a hold. This allows us to place holds that will never be filled. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 13246] Item edit doesn't respect cn_source if not defined
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Nov '19

24 Nov '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13246 Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de --- Comment #2 from Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de> --- This doesn't sound wrong to me - if you don't set any default classification source it will cause problems with cn_sort - so it makes sense to enforce the default if nothing is selected. Maybe the subfield should be made mandatory by default? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 23680] New: Perl string '0' evaluated as javascript boolean triggers window.close() when should not
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Nov '19

24 Nov '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23680 Bug ID: 23680 Summary: Perl string '0' evaluated as javascript boolean triggers window.close() when should not Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff Client Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com In cataloging_additem.inc the javascript variable "popup" is generated as: var popup = '[% popup | html %]'; So popup will be either '0' or '1'. '0' is a truthy value in javascript, so popup will always be evaluated as true making this condition: if( popup && op != 'saveitem' ){ window.close(); } in cataloging_additem.js (incorrectly) true for every operation except saveitem. A windows can only be closed by javascript in certain conditions (don't know if all browsers behave exactly the same), but for window.close() to actually close the window it needs to be opened in new window/tab. So to reproduce this bug go to a bibliographic record, expand the "New" menu, and open "New item" in new tab. It should immediately close, which this patch should fix. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 24040] New: Browser Tab closing when open through Manage Staged marc records
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Nov '19

24 Nov '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24040 Bug ID: 24040 Summary: Browser Tab closing when open through Manage Staged marc records Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 19.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kelly(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org There seems to be an issue where a browser tab will close when selecting "New Item" from a bib record that was opened from the "Manage staged MARC records" page. There seems to be a similar issue reported in bug #24011. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24011 To reproduce: 1. Open a staged MARC record 2. Click to open one of the biblio records. 3. Click "New" then "New Item". 4. Watch the browser tab close. The library that is reporting this are using a workaround that consists of reopening the last closed tab which will then stay open on the "Add item" screen. This also seems familiar in this bug https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23680 All these have been reported in 19.05. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
