[Bug 10047] Cataloguing search maybe useless?

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10047 --- Comment #18 from Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de> --- (In reply to Cori Lynn Arnold from comment #17) > (In reply to Katrin Fischer from comment #16) > > > Hi Cori, 001 should be indexed as Control-number and be searchable. You > > could add it to advanced search pull downs using jQuery - would that help of > > have you already tried and found something not working? > > Katrin, > > Can you elaborate on this? Point me to some documentation? Which interface? Verified on IRC that we talked about different things - Cori wants this for the Z39.50/catalog search in the advanced cataloguing editor. I was thinking regular Advanced search. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Only for existing installs I guess? > Fix should be provided for existing installs, at code level then. What kind > message should we display to the user? This only applies to MARC21 - I am not sure if UNIMARC is different, but as it usually is... the SQL I provided could help with UNIMARC: SELECT authtypecode, auth_tag_to_report FROM koha_kohadev.auth_types where authtypecode != "" -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 6508] Show indication of existing 'Fines & Charges' on tab of the same name
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Nov '19

24 Nov '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6508 --- Comment #8 from Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de> --- I agree with Martin that this doesn't add any additional information. I have another suggestion: We could only show the tab when there are any fines and charges. This way, for libraries not using fines it will be a nicer display and the tab appearing will have a meaning. I've also noticed that we only show the tab on details, but not on the checkouts tab. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the QA Contact for the bug. You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 23845] New: Dashboard for database
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Nov '19

24 Nov '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23845 Bug ID: 23845 Summary: Dashboard for database Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 18.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com I see that there is a bug in the works (or was in the works) for something like this: bug 6828. Would like to see something that would report on database health, especially on dead information. Like deleted and withdrawn elements that are stored in tables. Basically, things that could be pruned once in a while. Maybe have some tools available in the dashboard that would help to do the pruning. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
