Adds the "Attributes" field to z3950 servers. The feature here is not quite de same. In the old patches, the attributes were applied to individual query parts if the part already contains "@attr" and the additionnal attribute is not already in the query part. Here, the content of the new field is prepended to all PQF queries sent to the server. This new way of doing is simpler and works for the sponsor. Test plan: I) Apply the patch II) Run updatedatabase.pl 1) Add a new z3950 server with the following parameters: Hostname : catalogue.banq.qc.ca Port : 210 Database : IRIS Syntax : Marc21 2) Perform a z3950 search on that server. Keyword (Any) : egypt 2.1) Nothing Found. 3) Add attributes on the server administration page @attr 4=1 4) Perform the same z3950 search 4.1) A lot of results Signed-off-by: Katrin Fischer <katrin.fischer.83(a)web.de> Signed-off-by: Martin Renvoize <martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 16284] New: Borrower Previously Checked Out: Serials
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 12 Sep '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=16284 Bug ID: 16284 Summary: Borrower Previously Checked Out: Serials Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alex.sassmannshausen(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com In discussion of Bug 6909, Radek Šiman raised the following additional concerns around CheckPreviousCheckouts functionality: "Inspecting the last attachment 50286 [details] [review] I cannot find if periodical biblios are well processed. This special case concerns a scenario where a borrower is about to get another item of the same periodical title. In such a situation we need to check if the same item was already issued and not the same biblio only. There are borrowers ckecking-out several items if the same title at once. It seems to me that the current solution would ask for N-1 items to "Checkout anyway?". We should ask for repeating items of periodicals only." This bug is for the discussion and resolution of this additional feature. Best wishes, Alex -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 23595] New: Patron duplicate detection logic mismatch between code and docs
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 11 Sep '19

11 Sep '19

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23595 Bug ID: 23595 Summary: Patron duplicate detection logic mismatch between code and docs Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: theod(a)lib.auth.gr QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com All recent Koha docs indicate that "A duplicate patron is detected IF first AND last names match AND there is NO date of birth populated OR IF first name, last name AND date of birth fields are ALL populated." (quote from https://koha-community.org/manual/18.11/en/html/patrons.html) This used to be true until Jul 2016. See: https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/commit/1c61729e840655bfea7123d0c826a… After that commit, the logic that is described in the docs is no longer true. The newer code looks prettier (and simpler), but I liked the old 'logic'. More specifically, I would like to ALSO have a duplicate warning on firstname+lastname (and Initials maybe?) match, IF the dateofbirth is blank. If -for any reason- the community prefers to only check for firstname+lastname+dateofbirth, please consider updating the docs accordingly :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
