[Bug 21232] New: Problems when linking a subscription to a non-existing biblionumber
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 14 Jan '20

14 Jan '20

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21232 Bug ID: 21232 Summary: Problems when linking a subscription to a non-existing biblionumber Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 16.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Serials Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: colin.campbell(a)ptfs-europe.com Appeared in 16.11, for retesting in newer versions: 1) Create a new subscription, for biblionumber enter a numberic high value not existing in your database as a valid biblionumber 2) Verify that you can save (bug 1) 3) Edit the subscription (will show with empty title in search) 4) Correct the link to the record with an existing biblionumber 5) Verify that now the title displays correctly and link to the record works 6) Check "OPAC view" link, it will still show the wrong biblionumber value, leading to nowhere (bug 2) Reason: the biblionumber in subscriptionhistory hasn't been updated 7) Check the serial table for your subscription id: there is still the wrong value (bug 3) I feel like at least the expected issue should have been updated to the correct biblionumber. I am not sure if it could make sense to keep the old one for received issues, to keep some history of name changes etc. Maybe worth checking if the serial.biblionumber is used somewhere in a sensible way? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 15377] Remove 'checked out' items from course reserves
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 14 Jan '20

14 Jan '20

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15377 --- Comment #5 from Rogan Hamby <rogan.hamby(a)gmail.com> --- Created attachment 97369 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=97369&action=ed… small patch to allow removal on course reserve items I considered a confirmation dialogue that alerted the user to the fact that there was a circulation but realized the original intent was to put that information in front of the user immediately. Thus this patch simply moves the old criteria for restricting removal of a reserve item to information in the grid. So, the patch does two things 1) removes the restriction of not allowing a reserve to be removed if it is onloan 2) adds a column to the display that says with the item is checked out or available based on the onloan flag -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 10517] koha-restore fails to create mysqluser@mysql_hostname so zebra update fails
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 14 Jan '20

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=10517 Martin Renvoize <martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |martin.renvoize@ptfs-europe | |.com --- Comment #16 from Martin Renvoize <martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com> --- Sorry, I meant to get to this earlier. I'm afraid we cannot yet use the 'IF EXISTS' syntax here as we are maintaining support for Jessie up to the end of it's LTS date (2020-06-30). I intend to drop support for that Debian version at the release of 20.05 (at which time I believe we should also drop support for it from 19.11 at 19.11.06 and 19.05 at 19.05.12). However, even once we have dropped such support, unless I am mistaken, stretch is still stuck at MySQL 5.5 (though it recommends MariaDB instead. As such, we'll need a clear deprecation of mysql 5.5 support outlined and publicised before we can make this change. I am, however, pretty keen to take such an approach and drop 5.5 support with this release and so this patch is 'on hold' for now. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 24392] New: Leading whitespaces in Marc fields cause errors

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24392 Bug ID: 24392 Summary: Leading whitespaces in Marc fields cause errors Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: MARC Bibliographic data support Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org We've discovered that leading whitespaces in at least the 947h field have caused error messages on bib records (detail.pl), and lists linked to the record to fail to load (shelves.pl). Perhaps there should be something in place to either warn or automatically strip leading/trailing whitespaces on these fields, or something done to prevent these whitespaces from breaking things. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
