And they won't disappear if hidden when an authority record is saved. (tested on the 942$a and few colleagues remember it's the same for 152$b) It seems that exemptions for these fields are hard coded. These false positives create noise and might lead to errors where users would think that they need to make them visible. So they could be filtered out unless there is a reason to keep them, right? == Going further == Maybe it's for another bug if these ↓ cases are not as clear as the other ones. But if it's clear then better one bug than two :) 001 is the RECORD IDENTIFIER and 100$a (UNIMARC: General Processing Data) is recreated if missing. In the past, Jquery didn't throw a fatal error for this mistake, so it was fine. But now Jquery appears to be stricter with the upgrade to 3.4.1. This error causes Javascript to fail and could lead to unexpected behaviour. If you have koha_trusted_proxies set, when you load C4::Auth, it'll create a CGI object. It appears that creating this CGI object does some global work, which causes CGI::init to malfunction, and as a result Koha::Uploader's CGI upload hook never runs. -- I was comparing two 19.11 instances. File upload worked on one but not the other. The likely culprit looked like system preferences or koha-conf.xml and thus code being invoked by C4::Context or C4::Auth. In the end it was C4::Auth calling C4::Context->set_remote_address(). We've tested this problem trying to even load the second page that shows you a preview of the record to be updated if pushing forward the due date by a number of days is the chosen option. We've gotten the page to load with a hard due date chosen; it squeaked under the apache time out at 8 minutes 46 seconds to load. It would be great if the tool had a better way of handling large batches of data to be updated, because the current errors aren't inspiring much confidence. Libraries can break their batches into smaller groups, to a point, but we're finding that it's still easier for them to have the support team do a bulk due date update for them. I know other tools encounter this issue with large datasets, but at this point we don't have an approximate number of issues that is it 'safe' to update at one time. And if they've got 10,000 items at a branch, all checked out by the same category, they might not be able to make that grouping small enough to get the tool to work. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
