by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 May '21

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25245 Bug ID: 25245 Summary: Add a plugin hook to allow running code on a nightly basis Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Some plugins, Recalls for example, require the addition of a cronjob that runs on a nightly basis. We could greatly ease the installation of such plugins by introducing a new default cron script to that runs nightly and simply iterated through plugins implementing a cronjob_nightly method. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 27819] New: Spurious errors when running delete_records_via_leader.pl

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27819 Bug ID: 27819 Summary: Spurious errors when running delete_records_via_leader.pl Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz The job reports errors when deleting items. The issue seems to be that Koha::Object->delete claims in the POD to return -1, 0, or 1 as a result, but it in fact returns the Object itself on a successful deletion The errors are reported as: ERROR DELETING ITEM 501740: Koha::Item=HASH(0x55ce407a1a78) To recreate: 1 - Find or create a record with some items 2 - Ensure those items can be deleted (not on loan, etc.) 3 - Edit the record leader and set position 5 to 'd' 4 - perl misc/cronjobs/delete_records_via_leader.pl -i -v --confirm 5 - Deletion succeeds, but reports failure on items -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 27842] New: Incorrect biblionumber handling in serials subscriptions
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 May '21

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27842 Bug ID: 27842 Summary: Incorrect biblionumber handling in serials subscriptions Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P5 - low Component: Serials Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org It seems that a librarian can edit the biblionumber for a given subscription, however, when receiving serials the biblionumber is pulled from the existing serials, so all new received issues are received on the old biblionumber This is problematic in light of bug 21901 - you can change the biblionumber, the serials still point to the old biblionumber - and deleting the biblio deletes the serials. Additionally, the update will delete serials where this was the case To recreate: 1 - Create a new subscription 2 - Receive an issue 3 - Edit the subscription and change the biblionumber 4 - Receive another issue 5 - SELECT * FROM serial 6 - Both have the old number 7 - Delete the old biblio 8 - The serials are deleted 9 - You also cannot now receive for this issue or generate serials -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
