Either choice pushes one to neworderempty.pl (rather than addorderiso2709.pl). Values from MARCItemFieldsToOrder are not applied on neworderempty.pl, which complicates the workflow and requires the user to manually enter those values. To recreate: 1 - export a bib from your collection 2 - edit that bib to add some item values formatted in accordance with your MARCItemFieldsToOrder syspref 3 - create a basket in Acq set to create items at ordering 4 - add to your basket from a new file, select your exported and edited bib 5 - on addorderiso2709.pl, confirm your MARCItemFieldsToOrder values show up 6 - click Add Order 7 - select wither Use Existing Record or Create New Record 8 - confirm that you end up on neworderempty.pl without your MARCItemFieldsToOrder values -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. However, if the library is using MARCItemFieldsToOrder to pull some of these values from vendor-supplied MARC files, Koha will ignore selections made on the Item Information or Default Accounting Details tabs. This would instead use the buyer's purchase order number (segment RFF with a qualifier ON) instead so that this would be searchable. This should be optional as even when supplied many (most) sites do not have meaningful or distinctive data in the field (e.g. 'Books for branch X'). I propose that we trim calendar.inc down to only those things which require template processing and move the rest of the JavaScript into its own JS file. This would allow us to do proper linting and allow browsers to cache the file. If we seek having not ephemeral URIs they should be completely different. Take a look to this article from 1998 of a guy called Tim Berners-Lee: "Cool URIs don't change" https://www.w3.org/Provider/Style/URI A normal Koha URI looks like this: https://catalog.bywatersolutions.com/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumb… This URI is doomed to die in the short term, is not designed thinking in long-term. We have a lot of information about the tools and technical things used to put it there, like "cgi-bin", "koha" and "pl". Is not even consistent about using always en_US (american English): "/cgi-bin/koha/cataloguing/addbooks.pl" (cataloguing != cataloging). As the article say we shouldn't forget about domain name. We could encourage the use of more permanent words like "catalog" for the host part of the FQDN. For example, suppose I have several records in which I want to change the 008 position 33 (Literary form) from a 0 to a 1 (nonfiction to fiction). Currently I could tell my modification template to update the 008 of every record I point it at where the character in position 33 is a 0 (using regex to match only that specific character). This search is very constrictive and it would be nice to have the option of what fields get prepopulated instead of having to manually remove the fields that the user doesn't want.
