Didn't even know that was there. After that the item is attached both to hold (reserves-table) and issue (issues table). The system should allow to check out an item to another patron than the one with hold, when item is attached to hold and is in transfer. This bug leads to unfortunate situations where patron with hold never gets the item. And along those lines, a small set of sysprefs could somehow be set apart for changes only by superlibrarian. Perhaps even configurable by sysadmin. That reason is recorded for later reporting and also triggers a notice. That cron cancels both holds that have simply never had an item captured *and* holds where the item has been waiting on the hold shelf past the pickup delay. Ideally, we'd be able to tell the cron to apply two different reasons in these two very distinct cases. Maybe the cron could take a pair of [found value]=[reason]?
