I can imagine a library might want to do this based on three possible criteria: 1. items new to the collection could be boosted higher in the results list 2. items published more recently should be boosted higher in results e.g if two books share the same title, the more recent one should come higher in the results list 3. the latest edition of a book should be boosted higher than previous editions in results e.g. the 7th edition of "Learning Perl" should come higher than the first edition. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. We pull out the code from bug 11983 and extend it to support filtering of debts by branchcode and debit_type. The advantage of this approach is that we can add the filter into the middle of a search chain to filter down an pre-existing search. To recreate: - Have an overdue item with an accruing fine - pay the fine - check in the item, backdated to before its due date - confirm that your patron shows a credit for overpayment of a fine - void your payment - confirm patron's account is not right The fine shows amount=0 and amountoutstanding = [whatever the original fine was]. The patron shouldn't owe us anything here. Further complicating things, the fine doesn't show on the Make a Payment tab at all -- seems like the logic here must be to only show fines where the amountoutstanding > amount? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. I was trying to get a subscription with lots of late issues to test something. But every time I run serialsUpdate, it only create 1-3 issues instead of all the late issues up to today. To test: 1) Go to Serials 2) Create a subscription for a weekly serial starting 2020-01-01 (I attached a screenshot of my new subscription form 2/2) 3) Go to serial collection -- There should be the first issue of the subscription, 2020-01-01 4) Go to the terminal and run ./misc/cronjobs/serialsUpdate.pl -c -v 5) Go back to the serial collection -- Only the next issue has been created (2020-01-08) I would have expected this to create all missing issues from 2020-01-01 to 2021-01-13.
