[Bug 23391] New: Hide finished ILL requests
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Nov '22

07 Nov '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23391 Bug ID: 23391 Summary: Hide finished ILL requests Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: magnus(a)libriotech.no The default for the main ILL page is to show all ILL requests. For active libraries this will grow to a huge list quite fast. We should hide resuests that are "done", and only show them when they are requested specifically. (I was sure there was a bug for this already, but can't for the life of me find it.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 23615] New: Alert staff when patron cancels an ILL request in opac
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Nov '22

07 Nov '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23615 Bug ID: 23615 Summary: Alert staff when patron cancels an ILL request in opac Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 18.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: niamh.walker-headon(a)it-tallaght.ie Patrons can cancel a request on the opac but staff are not notified of this, and may have proceeded with fulfilling a request in the meanwhile. Create a notification to ILL staff / branch when a request is cancelled via an opac user by email and via alert when they log into Koha, or allow the library to disable this functionality. Staff need to know if a request is cancelled so that request costs are not incurred by the library. Unnecessary budgetary spend and Staff time wasted on processing cancelled requests can arise because of this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 23614] New: Alert staff when patron modifies ILL request in opac
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Nov '22

07 Nov '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23614 Bug ID: 23614 Summary: Alert staff when patron modifies ILL request in opac Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 18.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: niamh.walker-headon(a)it-tallaght.ie If a patron modifies an already submitted opac request, staff are not alerted in any way. Please ensure that staff are informed or disable the modification functionality in the opac until such time as this can be facilitated. Staff should be alerted, by e-mail and by an alert status/list when they log in when a patron has modified a request. If this is not possible the option should be there to turn off this functionality. Changes need to be notified to staff so that the correct materials are sourced and duplicate requests and request costs are not incurred by the library. Incorrect requests may be submitted, then modified. Staff may have already processed the request for the first request, thus increasing the workload for the staff member, and necessitating the processing of essentially a second request and the encumbrance of the associated fees. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 21016] New: Plugins: Expand usage of opac_js method, or create intranet_js
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 Nov '22

07 Nov '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21016 Bug ID: 21016 Summary: Plugins: Expand usage of opac_js method, or create intranet_js Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew.isherwood(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org There is an opac_js method which gives the opportunity for a plugin to return some Javascript to be embedded in the OPAC. I propose that we either make this method more generic, perhaps, plugin_js, so it can reasonably be used for JS for either the OPAC or intranet, or we add an intranet_js method for embedding JS in plugins that touch the staff client. I suspect there's a use case for a plugin wanting to return different JS for the OPAC and staff client, so the latter idea might be preferable. The inspiration for this proposal is the CLA Check Permissions plugin (Bug 20968), the current workflow is a bit clunky with the button on the Bib toolbar taking the user to a page generated by the plugin, on which the main Javascript is run, opening a modal. The plugin has no use for the additional page, but is necessary to run the Javascript. The proposal would allow us to run the Javascript directly in the Bib view, which would make for a better UX. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 22843] New: Finer control of who receives purchase suggestion notifications

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=22843 Bug ID: 22843 Summary: Finer control of who receives purchase suggestion notifications Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- Bug 5770 adds the ability to send emails to various addresses when a patron makes a purchase suggestion. It uses the existing email address fields at either the branch or whole library level (or the option to add a single alternate address). It might be nice to be able to define a 'Acquisitions librarian' per branch rather than re-using the branchemail address. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
