After re-reading how background_jobs_worker.pl does its job, you notice that the main loop can only deal with Koha::BackgrounJob objects (i.e. not Koha::BackgroundJob::BatchUpdateItem). This is because it either gets a job id (STOMP use case) or it uses a Koha::BackgroundJobs->search to find jobs. So, when a job is found (say $job), the worker eventually calls $job->process. At that point, it needs to instantiate the 'real' class to properly call its overridden ->process method. When it does so, it creates a new/empty object, that is passed... the id. So, devs implementing background jobs need to take care of retrieving the job object so they are able to update the job status. In the "Barcode" field add barcode(s) with whitespaces before them; 5. The person handling the ILL request knows this, but needs a way to tell Koha to use the given hard due date when the loan is issued at the front desk, where noone knows about the special due date for this loan. The Swedish Libris ILL backend lets librarians store a specific due date when an ILL loan is received. This is stored as a ILL request attribute. This patch adds a syspref that can take the name of the illrequestattribute used to store the specific date. Over time, however, it has been manually updated by developers as the tables were altered. Currently the file is out of order, and the conventions for punctuation and formatting are not standard. For instance, some numbers are quoted, some tables names are in backticks, some foreign keys are listed as 'CONSTRAINT' and some aren't The advantage to regenerating the file is that then users can dump their db schema and easily diff it against the expected structure to see what might be missing. Many DB updates simply don't add a new constraint if the existing data violates this, and as we use more Koha Objects, these missing constraints cause issues. Users are useful in particular to receive orders from a particular fund. Currently, this functionality retrieves only the owner and funds associated with a budget. This enhancement could be optionnal using a checkbox in the "duplicate budget" view to enable/disable the copy of user ? What do you think about it ?
