[Bug 9537] Add a list of the patches that have been applied to a koha installation
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Aug '22

22 Aug '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9537 David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |dcook(a)prosentient.com.au --- Comment #3 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- I can't see this really being practical. I think that it would require every bug patch set to include a database update of some kind, and its only utility would really be for debugging, which should mostly be done in koha-testing-docker anyway where you have easy access to the source code and database. I reckon this issue could probably be closed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 9936] SIP2 should work with LDAP and CAS
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Aug '22

22 Aug '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9936 David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |dcook(a)prosentient.com.au --- Comment #3 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- Is this still valid? Looking at "C4/SIP/ILS/Patron.pm" and it looks like it uses "checkpw()" which looks like it will check LDAP. I'm not familiar with CAS but it looks like its more SSO rather than directory lookup like LDAP so don't know that it would ever work in this context. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 2442] add babelfish links to the bug display page header or footer
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Aug '22

22 Aug '22

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=2442 David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |dcook(a)prosentient.com.au Status|NEW |RESOLVED Resolution|--- |WONTFIX --- Comment #2 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- (In reply to Katrin Fischer from comment #1) > Is this still something we intend to do? Machine translation is better than > it used to be, but when your text is 'librarianese' and sprinkled with Koha > terms it might be less than useful. I get the feeling that the change wasn't for Koha but was rather for Bugzilla itself. Probably not necessary these days since I think we mandate English, plus Google Translate has a lot of options for dealing with other languages in browsers anyway. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It's methods of operation seem pretty at odds with how things are done in Koha these days... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
