These columns are not labeled, and a user does not know what to fill in from this view and would need to scroll up. It should copy some data from the host record and the host item but it fails to copy the Biblionumber from the host record to 773$0 and copies instead the Biblionumber of the analytical record. In consequence the analytical record shows up in the host item (because Host Itemnumber was correctly copied) but in the analytical record itself there is no direct link to the host item that could show itemtype, circulation status, homebranch, etc. How to reproduce the bug. 1. Create an analytical record with $773$o<barcode> that references a real barcode in the system. 2. Run create_analytical_rel.pl. 3. But not all lost statuses, like "Missing" or "Claims returned" have a fee that needs to be refunded. Would like to see LOST values with a negative value not apply this message. For example, what if you decide you want a timestamp for that last SIP login? Or maybe you want to know when they last logged into the OPAC. It would also be great if there were counters that could be associated with an event. This is not made obvious, nor are users prevented from attempting to install sample data that depends on other sample data that is not selected. This means that first time users are unnecessarily confronted with (fairly ugly) database errors whilst attempting their very first install, with no obvious way to "undo" these errors nor how much importance to pay to them. For example: `sample_libraries_holidays` and `sample_patrons` fail to load if sample libraries are not also selected. It would be useful if the step where users select which optional data to install included a check for data dependencies like this to ensure a relaxing experience for new users. Ideally this would be some kind of JavaScript (e.g. if Koha was using VueJS that would be ideal to check the state of relevant checkboxes), or alternatively a check on submission of the form that returns to the selection screen if incompatible options are selected, with a useful error message explaining the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. It gives a separate link for each instance of a repeated field. Some libraries have bib records for circulating eReaders that come loaded with hundreds of books. This bib records reflect the full contents of the eReader and therefore have *a lot* of repeated fields. Looking at a bib with 300 700$a fields and 573 740$a fields, this block of links makes the record very hard to edit. The list of fields take up nearly the whole browser window and can't be scrolled past. I'll put a screenshot in an attachment. I could see fixing this by: - making those links collapsable - making those links automatically disappear/collapse when one scrolls down the page AND/OR - only giving a link to the first instance of each repeated MARC field -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. In our organization we have subscriptions to multilingual periodicals with the same title eg: India Today which is being published in Hindi and English. I have created entries for the title with all the respective fields with language in the record entry. But I do not find a way to differentiate the hindi / english titles while receiving them in koha serial module. It would be nice to know how others are overcoming this issue apart from identifying the title using ISSN. There may be some titles where some local publications may not have ISSN number, but the same title gets published in different languages. These fields should also display in the results summary that can be checked before proceeding with the due date change. We have amended all due dates while the libraries have been closed during 2020, but we would not want to extend the due dates for books ln loan to borrowers who have already left, or in some circumstances if they have an expiry date before the intended new due date.
