https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34527 Bug ID: 34527 Summary: Enhance the Openlibrary book cover retrieval to use the 024 MARC record and the OLID Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: nigel(a)titley.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Now that OpenLibrary has been added to the SISC list, with identifier "openlib" it is feasible (and correct) to add an OpenLibrary ID (OLID) to MARC record 024 024 7 _ | $2 openlib | $a <OLID> Enhancing the OpenLibrary book cover retrieval method to include OLIDs in this fashion would allow more complete retrieval of book covers from OpenLibrary even in the case where the book has no ISBN -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 25891] New: build_holds_queue can be daemonised
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Sep '23

04 Sep '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25891 Bug ID: 25891 Summary: build_holds_queue can be daemonised Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz We have customers who have come from systems where the holds queue is either dynamically built at query time or where it's being much more regularly updated. In their workflows, having to wait for an hour between runs is an annoyance. With the recent introduction of easy locking mechanisms via the Koha::Script class we should be able to utilise this functionality to allow the build_holds_queue job to be demonized such that it runs on a loop. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 34703] New: Provision to choose default cataloguing framework
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Sep '23

04 Sep '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34703 Bug ID: 34703 Summary: Provision to choose default cataloguing framework Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: vimalibre(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Created attachment 155194 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=155194&action=e… Cataloging > New Record button When we choose Cataloguing > New Record for new record creation, the user lands on Default Framework. There is a drop-down button to select the frameworks, but users don't click on it. The majority of Koha users have created customized frameworks for catalogue creation. They want to land on the frequently using customized framework instead of the Default one. Very useful, if we have a provision (e.g. in system preferences) to decide the framework to open when clicking on Cataloguing > New Record. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
