[Bug 25813] New: Enhance patron expiration in SIP display
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 09 Dec '24

09 Dec '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=25813 Bug ID: 25813 Summary: Enhance patron expiration in SIP display Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: SIP2 Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: matthias.meusburger(a)biblibre.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: colin.campbell(a)ptfs-europe.com Currently, the patron information returned by SIP only shows "PATRON EXPIRED" when the patron card has expired. This patch makes the display more consistant with the Opac display and also complies with the NotifyBorrowerDeparture system preference. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 38535] New: Edit record page displays item type even when biblioitems.itemtype is NULL
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 Dec '24

06 Dec '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38535 Bug ID: 38535 Summary: Edit record page displays item type even when biblioitems.itemtype is NULL Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.11 Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: david.liddle(a)wycliff.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com This behavior was revealed due to a misconfiguration of Koha to MARC mappings, in which 942$c was associated with items.itype. For any record edited after the change, the value of biblioitems.itemtype was changed to NULL. The issue came to our attention when staff noticed that records' details display pages showed neither the item type image nor the item type description. However, the edit record page (somehow) continued to display its correct item type. Updating the item type on this page, despite an apparently successful save action, did not change the value of biblioitems.itemtype; it remained NULL. The behavior caused much confusion among the staff until the error was traced back to the misconfiguration. An UPDATE action on biblioitems.itemtype could restore the correct value, but a subsequent edit of the record would return the value to NULL. Correcting the Koha to MARC mapping restored proper function. Thanks for reading! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 37249] New: Item search column filtering broken

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37249 Bug ID: 37249 Summary: Item search column filtering broken Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lucas(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org To test: 1. Do an item search that returns results 2. Use the column filtering available at the top of the table for each column 3. Try itemnumber, get a 500 error each time 4. As long as there is data in the itemnumber column and you attempt to use another column you'll see a 500 error. Without anything in the itemnumber column: 5. Try filtering by home library, currently library, item type, or shevling location. 6. The filtering doesn't work unless you type the code, not the description. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 38433] New: Conflicting behaviour of the columns visibility on the items table
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Dec '24

05 Dec '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38433 Bug ID: 38433 Summary: Conflicting behaviour of the columns visibility on the items table Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jonathan.druart(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com On the items table of the bibliographic record there are different behaviour conflicting with each others. First you have the admin settings that gives you the default visibility. Then you have the "hide the column if no data to display" behaviour, and finally you have the state that is saved. When visibility changes, the state changed and is saved for the next time. So, when you come back, what to do? Restore from the state but hide empty columns. But... you cannot know if the column has been hidden from the user or if the column was empty I guess we need an additional layer, and store the user's preference in a separate localStorage item, then merge and then hide if empty but it's getting complicated, for a single table, especially when I am trying to standardize our DT uses. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 38510] New: Display "Show all invoices" link on receiving page to show closed invoices
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Dec '24

05 Dec '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38510 Bug ID: 38510 Summary: Display "Show all invoices" link on receiving page to show closed invoices Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org See https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38343#c19 The change in Bug 38343 introduces a change in behaviour in the receiving page. Closed invoices used to be displayed (at least in the last couple of versions) and now they are hidden. There is now a checkbox on the left to show the closed invoices. My fear is that with this behaviour change, people who were used to seeing all their invoices will not know to check the box. Our past experience here at inLibro with the HTML customizations in particular shows that this method is not intuitive for users (at least our users). I suggest we add a link similar to the one in baskets: when a vendor has closed baskets, the baskets are hidden by default and there is a like to "Show all baskets" (see https://snipboard.io/q2Jbsp.jpg) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
