[Bug 21889] New: Include Staff Client entered Purchase Suggestions with System Preference maxopensuggestions
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 23 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21889 Bug ID: 21889 Summary: Include Staff Client entered Purchase Suggestions with System Preference maxopensuggestions Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 18.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kelly(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Currently only Purchase Suggestions made by patrons through the OPAC are the only suggestions counted in the system preference MaxOpenSuggestions. It would be nice if this system preference also connected to the staff client, so a purchase suggestion done on the patrons account by staff alerted the staff that the patron already had the maximum number of purchase suggestion allowed. At this time, even if a patron has maxed out the number of open purchase suggestions on the OPAC, a staff member can still enter more purchase suggestions for that patron through the staff client without knowledge of the maxopensuggestions being reached. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 27859] New: Marc export for search result
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 23 Oct '26

23 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27859 Bug ID: 27859 Summary: Marc export for search result Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching - Elasticsearch Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com This patch provides the option of exporting a search result as MARCXML or iso 2709. Ideally the export should be asynchronous but it was much trickier than first thought to fork and detach from Apache so gave that up for now. A link to the export is sent to the current user as an email as a simple way of delivering the response asynchronously (keeping it this way so don't have to refactor when/if the export is made asynchronous). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 35452] New: Provide more info when using Link authorities automatically

Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 700 - No matching authority found. * 700 - No matching authority found. * 700 - No matching authority found. To figure out which are the entries the results refer to you have to manually check the fields in the record. I think this could improved by adding info about the entries. Something like this. * 650 - Rock music. - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - Alternative rock music. - More than one local match found. Possibly a duplicate authority! * 650 - Country music. - More than one local match found. [Bug 17656] New: Irregularities in serial prediction pattern are planned only for the current year

Over the next renewal, you will have to set it again which is very tedious. We should be able to configure this in the long run (as it was possible in previous version of Koha before 3.14, I think) Olivier Crouzet -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 32328] New: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

22 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=32328 Bug ID: 32328 Summary: Add ability to specify how long an item stays on a library's holds queue Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bwsdonna(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com With multi-location libraries that are open varying hours, it would be helpful to be able to specify how long an item appears on a library's hold queue before the item appears on another location's queue. For example, Title A is available at both Library D and Library E. The patron wants to pickup the item at Library D. Library D is closed Saturday and Sunday, but Library E is not. Currently, the item could potentially show on Library E's hold queue. Since it takes three days of transit time to move the item from Library E to Library D, it would be faster to fill the hold from Library D, but because it was moved off Library D's queue, it won't be filled there. It would be nice to be able to specify by Library how long an item will appear on the holds queue for that library before it is moved, and the item is sent from another library. Using Holds Queue Skip Closed (and the other associated sys prefs) does not address this sufficiently. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 30328] New: Add ability to generate barcode with branch specific prefix

For this we need to add new barcode option to syspref "autobarcode" and new systempreference where prefixes are set. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 34671] New: Collapsing fields in patron form allows saving without mandatory fields
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Oct '26

It turned out that if one collapses patron entry fields validating those fields no longer works even if they are marked as mandatory. To reproduce: 1. Make sure you have "Main address" fields set as mandatory with BorrowerMandatoryField syspref (address, city, zipcode) 2. Add new patron, fill in some info, but leave "Main address" fields empty. 3. Attempt to save. => "This field is mandatory" should be displayed next to the address fields. 4. Collapse "Main address" section. 5. Attempt to save again. => Patron is saved successfully without address information. I'm using address section as an example here, but this happens with every other fields as well. I was able to save patron without surname and date of birth this way. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 18064] New: Long overdue cronjob does not follow the library' s calendar and skip closed days

However, the cronjob that sends the email (overdue notices) does follow the library's calendar. So as an example on a weekend where Monday is a holiday, the long over due may get set and chanrge the patrons account, but the email may be sent a day or 2 later. It would be good to allow the long overdue cron to follow the library calendar and skip closed days. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
