[Bug 33192] New: We should rename 'AutoEmailPrimaryAddress' to 'EmailFieldPrimary' for clarification
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Aug '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33192 Bug ID: 33192 Summary: We should rename 'AutoEmailPrimaryAddress' to 'EmailFieldPrimary' for clarification Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com The AutoEmailPrimaryAddress preference no longer only affects AutoEmailNewUser (formerly known as AutoEmailOpacUser). As such I feel it should be clarified and renamed to EmailFieldPrimary to show it is actually being used for the majority of notices now. I chose EmailField* to sit it next to the new preference I attempt to introduce in bug 29046. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 37685] New: Adding a new subpermission to a permission category grants new features to all staff with a top level permission
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 28 Aug '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37685 Bug ID: 37685 Summary: Adding a new subpermission to a permission category grants new features to all staff with a top level permission Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com On bug 29393 there was a new subpermission added to the borrowers permission: "send_messages_to_borrowers" This meant that all staff who were previously able to add/update/delete patrons could now also send them messages with any content. We have received complaints from libraries who do not wish all staff to have had this new permission added. Messaging and borrower CRUD are not necessarily related. This points to a larger problem with our permissions, but I think in terms of updates/upgrades it is worth having the conversation of how we should go about adding new permissions/subpermissions and granting access to new features. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 37760] New: HOLD_CANCELLATION notice should be available as digest

One email for each hold feels excessive. That notice really should be a digest, or at least have the option to be digested. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 37756] New: Add import option for purchase suggestions

I think something like an import option for CSV could be a way to achieve this. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
