In the search bar in the staff interface, if we double click on one of the buttons, the cursor is removed from the box. Also, depending on the page/where the cursor is focused, clicking on the buttons will not systematically put the cursor in the search box. For exemple, if I log in Koha, I will be on the main page and my cursor will be in the search box, ready for a check out. If I click again on the check out button, my cursor disappears from the box. So if I double-click by mistake on a button, my cursor will not be in the box and I will need to click in the box to be able to search something. Also, if I am in a page where the cursor is focused somewhere else than the search box, I won't be able to click on the check out button to check something out, as the cursor will not appear in the box. So, for exemple, if I'm in the circulation module and choose check in, my cursor will be in the check in box. If I then want to check out something, I can't click on the check out button, since my cursor will not appear in the search box. I will need to click on the box to be able to check something out. This will happen with any of the search bar buttons (check out, renew, check in, search catalog...). What I would expect is, no matter where my cursor is, if I click on any of the search bar button at any giving time, my cursor will appear/stay in the search box. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. On a single record, create at least 20 items at Centerville, 10 at Fairfield, 10 at Fairview 2. create a library group that has Fairfield and Fairview and check Limit item editing to items owned inside of this group. 3. Enable EnableItemGroups & SeparateHoldings 4. Set a patron (I used Henry) to have a password you know and the following permissions: -Staff access (catalogue) -Edit Catalog -Edit Items -Create, update and delete item groups, add or remove items from an item group 5. Set their library to Fairfield 6. Create an item group on your record. 7. In another browser/guest window, log in as your patron from step 4. 8. Navigate to your record. 9. Navigate to the "Other holdings" page, there should be no checkboxes. 10. Use the filters or the table search to filter to Fairview, there should now be checkboxes. 11. It would be more efficient if the templates applied to selected libraries in the template, much like we do for other things in Koha (like attributes). Obviously it would cause issue if more than one copy of a particular template had the same library selected in both, so we could have Koha refuse to save the template with the offending duplicate library if detected. If that were the case, it would need to show which library is being used in a similar template, and which template. The editor could then either give the option to save without the offending libraries, or an option could be given to remove the offending libraries from the other template(s). For example, I have 27 libraries, and 8 of them follow the same set of rules that are different from the defaults. So, what if instead of cloning these special rules to 8 different libraries (and who knows how many other duplicated sets of rules there are), we defined a set of rules for a library group. If the library is part of that group, it goes by those rules. I don't know if we want to use the same library groups that are already defined in the libraries and groups, or if we want to create a unique Circ rule group. Because, there is always the chance that one or more of the libraries in the 8 that are grouped together by affiliation or region could have a slightly different set of rules. However, I think rules by groups would make managing rules far less complicated than managing groups of cloned rules.
