https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36205 Bug ID: 36205 Summary: Plugins should be able to create permissions Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Plugin architecture Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Some plugins expose additional functionality that should only be exposed to users with permission to access them. We could perhaps allow plugins to add sub-permissions to the existing 'plugins' flag to facilitate this? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 36386] New: Prevent Net::Server warn about User Not Defined from SIPServer
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 16 Dec '25

16 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36386 Bug ID: 36386 Summary: Prevent Net::Server warn about User Not Defined from SIPServer Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Your syslog contains warnings like: Mar 21 13:46:11 upgrade koha_sip[9377]: Group Not Defined. Defaulting to EGID '1000' Mar 21 13:46:11 upgrade koha_sip[9377]: User Not Defined. Defaulting to EUID '1000' This comes from Net::Server. SIPServer does not pass user and group. We only define user when we start koha-sip with daemon. Net::Server falls back to current user context which is already good. So it is an innocent warn. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
