[Bug 36324] New: Authority subfields cannot be reordered
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 15 Dec '25

15 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36324 Bug ID: 36324 Summary: Authority subfields cannot be reordered Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 23.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: esther.melander(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl According to bug 34114, authority subfields should be able to be reordered when editing. That function seems to be broken and the fields cannot be reordered. When clicking on a subfield, a box appears that allows me to edit the subfield letter/number instead. I would think the ability to edit the subfield letter/number in the authority editor could be problematic. The ability to sort the fields by clicking and dragging was existing behavior and should be restored. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. The default value from a framework should also be used when this framework is selected by clicking on ‘Settings’ in the cataloguing mask. Would it be possible to program this option as well? Many thanks -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 39868] New: koha-common fails to install on trixie
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 15 Dec '25

15 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39868 Bug ID: 39868 Summary: koha-common fails to install on trixie Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Packaging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: mtj(a)kohaaloha.com The reason for this, is an issue with `rabbitmq-server`. The shipped configuration lacks some entries pointing to the plugin install dir, or the install dir doesn't exist. To reproduce: ```shell $ docker run -ti debian:trixie bash $ apt update ; apt install -y rabbitmq-server $ rabbitmq-plugins enable rabbitmq_stomp ``` The last command is what `koha-common.postinst` runs then the `koha-common` package is installed/upgraded. Hence the failure This is a `trixie` bug to keep an eye on. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 41446] New: xt/find-missing-new-lines-at-the-end-of-file.t - doesn't check .pref files for missing new line at the end of the file
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 14 Dec '25

14 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41446 Bug ID: 41446 Summary: xt/find-missing-new-lines-at-the-end-of-file.t - doesn't check .pref files for missing new line at the end of the file Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Test Suite Assignee: chris(a)bigballofwax.co.nz Reporter: david(a)davidnind.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Bug 40541 added tests to check for files that are missing a new line at the end of file. It does not check the .pref files in koha-tmpl/intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/admin/preferences When running the qa check for bug 41427 (before the follow-up patch), it generated a QA warning "Missing new line at the end of file, make sure your editor correctly reads .editorconfig ('insert_final_newline = true'). See bug 40541.". I think there are also two additional preference files that do not have a new line at the file: - cataloguing.pref - interlibrary-loans.pref The qa script generates a warning if you make changes to the files (and if, for whatever reason, you have an editor that doesn't have insert_final_newline = true set). Should xt/find-missing-new-lines-at-the-end-of-file.t check .pref files as well? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
