[Bug 41378] New: Creating authorized values for reports on the fly
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41378 Bug ID: 41378 Summary: Creating authorized values for reports on the fly Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Reports Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com This is another frivolous request. When writing reports, we can create report groups or report subgroups on the fly that go into the authorized values. But if we are needing a set of unique authorized values to use for our runtime parameters, we have to go completely outside of the report and create the table and values before we can use them in the report. It would be handy if we had some kind of quick form (a modal?) to quickly create or modify a table and update values in right from the report itself. Modifying an existing table could be tricky, but creating one seems like it should be doable. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 41099] New: koha-mysql doesn't work out of the box on Debian 13
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41099 Bug ID: 41099 Summary: koha-mysql doesn't work out of the box on Debian 13 Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz The shipped mysql client on Debian 13 has `ssl=on` by default. So, on newer Debian and Ubuntu versions, we would need to add a configuration step for disabling SSL if you're not using it. I propose we disable it by default in `koha-mysql` as we are already setting `ssl=on` when SSL/TLS is properly configured in Koha (i.e. it is a change that will keep the current behavior, both of them). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 41198] New: Add visible “Sort results by” label above the sort dropdown for accessibility and clarity
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41198 Bug ID: 41198 Summary: Add visible “Sort results by” label above the sort dropdown for accessibility and clarity Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Keywords: accessibility Severity: trivial Priority: P5 - low Component: Accessibility Assignee: Laura.escamilla(a)bywatersolutions.com Reporter: Laura.escamilla(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: martin.renvoize(a)openfifth.co.uk, matt.blenkinsop(a)openfifth.co.uk, oleonard(a)myacpl.org Currently, the OPAC search results toolbar only includes a visually hidden (“sr-only”) label for the sort dropdown. This means screen readers can announce it, but sighted users have no visible context for what the dropdown does — especially when positioned beside pagination controls. Adding a visible label such as “Sort results by:” above or alongside the dropdown improves usability and accessibility for all users. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 34362] New: Progress bar does not progress
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34362 Bug ID: 34362 Summary: Progress bar does not progress Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: pedro.amorim(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Depends on: 31666 Test plan: 1) Go to stage MARC records for import /cgi-bin/koha/tools/stage-marc-import.pl 2) Upload a .mrc file with a couple thousand records 3) Click upload file and then the bottom button "Stage for import" 4) Notice how the bar never progresses, until the job is done successfully. I believe this is because $self->size and $self->progress are both inside $schema->storage->txn_begin and they are not updated in the database in real time until the job is successfully done. I also think $self->progress should be $self->step but I'm not 100% sure about that one. [Bug 39532] New: Script debar_patrons_with_fines.pl creates repeat restrictions, uses wrong restriction type
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39532 Bug ID: 39532 Summary: Script debar_patrons_with_fines.pl creates repeat restrictions, uses wrong restriction type Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Command-line Utilities Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: robin(a)catalyst.net.nz The cronjob debar_patrons_with_fines.pl is meant to add a restriction based on a fines threshold. The problem is that the script adds a MANUAL restriction, which makes no sense. MANUAL restrictions are meant to be manually created, never automatic as this script does. In addition, they are repeatable, not unique. Every time this script runs, it will add an additional restriction. There is already a restriction type meant for this type of use case: SUSPENSION We should change this script to create SUSPENSION restrictions instead of MANUAL restrictions. In summary, this script should use the unique restriction type SUSPENSION to prevent multiple additional restrictions from being created on each run. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
