When bug 23919 added SearchWithISSNVariations to item search, it broke all searches, but for one use case (that was tested): single ISBN, no ISBD punctuation. We are exploding the search now with up to 4 forms of ISBN into something like: isbn like 'isbn1' or isbn like 'isbn2' ... But: We are not truncating. As soon as there is more than one ISBN (this is a repeatable field) or the library actually follows MARC21 standard adding ISBD punctuation, this fails. The data in biblioitems.isbn looks like this: isbn1 ; | isbn2 ; | isbn3. isbn1. This also seems to create quite a performance issue on big databases and it can't be turned off separately from the normal search. We'd like to be able to force confirm on kits, hotspots, and book club kits but not on DVDs and Audiobooks. All of these have materials specified in our catalog. Hitting confirm on each DVD and audio check in and out would make our workflows much slower, but we'd like to be able to do it for some items still. This bug would preload these vocabularies for new instances of Koha. There are two AV categories per field, one for the human-readable term ($a) and one for a short code ($b). I made the lib/lib_opac text for the codes the term they represent, so one does not have to memorize the meanings of the codes. I do not see any instance of an authorized value being connected with a MARC field during installation (looking in installer/data/mysql/en/marcflavour/marc21/mandatory/marc21_framework_DEFAULT.yml where all the authorised_value properties are empty) so I have not done so with these either. That seems reasonable; some libraries may want to use different terms. But the RDA vocabs are widely used and stable, so including them as an option for catalogers is worthwhile.
