And Koha::Email::create checks the validity of the to address with Email::Address (no corresponding warn detected). I also saw this preceding warning: [2025/05/12 17:13:17] [WARN] Use of uninitialized value in string ne at /usr/share/koha/C4/Letters.pm line 1526. Which is the line: _update_message_to_address( $message->{'message_id'}, $email->email->header('To') ) if !$message->{to_address} || $message->{to_address} ne $email->email->header('To'); So at that point $message->{to_address} was not false! And therefore the To header must have been undefined and written back to the message! If you encounter this, should you already bail out ? Later on, Letters called send_or_die on the email (with an emptied To header). And this produced the warning "no recipients" from the module Email::Sender::Simple. Interestingly, this modules does not use Email::Address to parse the addresses (again), but uses Email::Address::XS. This triggers the above warns. I think we need to add hyphen to the list of punctuation characters to ignore to fix this problem. (The filter box on the left side is OK.) To recreate: 1. Go to Acquisitions 2. Search for a vendor 3. Click "Receive shipments" 4. If there are less than 21 invoices, create some until you have at least 21 4.1. Fill out the "Vendor invoice" field 4.2. Click Save 4.3. Click "Back" in your browser 4.4. Redo steps 4.1 to 4.3 5. In the filter box at the top of the table, search for an invoice number on the second page of results --> No results 6. In the filter box on the left, search for an invoice number on the second page of results --> Result found --> Also note that when the filter is not used, it says "XX shipments" at the top of the page (mine says 36 shipments), but at the top and bottom of the table it says "Showing 1 to 20 of 20 entries" The filter box at the top of the table seems to be defective. Maybe we could change the table to a datatable? This is attempting the request from Aspen Discovery 25.05, for which I've cross created the following issue number, since I can't tell where the problem originates for sure: https://aspen-discovery.atlassian.net/browse/DIS-816. Today a patron is not allowed to check out already checked out material when using the automat (sip).(In the staff client you can override this if you scan the barcode). There are several reason for allowing this: Case 1: If a patron, patron no.1, fails to deliver the item properly (the item is still on loan on his account) and the item is placed on the shelf where it belongs. The next patron(no.2) who picks it up and borrows it, can in this way correct the error of patron no.1 without contacting the staff. Today we risk that patron no.1 will receive fines even though he has delivered it. Or even worse patron no.2 has borrowed it (failed to see og ignored the message on the automat) and patron nr. 1 gets the fines. Case 2: If a patron has an item on loan that belongs to another branch, has no renewals left and wishes to borrow it again. He will be able to do so if there are no one on the waiting list. Because we have many branches that are open without any staff present, this feature is even more important.
