A patron receives a message in their OPAC account their account is about to expire. A custom message says to please update their account. 2. Staff receive a patron modification notification. 3. At this point staff have to go to each patron account to manually renew the account. It would be nice if the update patron records table could have a registration expiration date column. Go to any patron checkout screen 2. Enter a barcode that is not in the system 3. Click on the "Add using Fast Cataloging" in Barcode not found warning 4. Enter bib/item info and click on Save 5. You are returned to the patron checkout screen but it is not checked out The bib record and item record are created, but staff will need to scan the item again in order to check it out. Since this is the workflow a lot of libraries use for ephemeral items, magazines, etc, this will add a lot of clicks and cause confusion. This adjustment would create an option third tab that would display holding from other members of a library_group. Current options for SeparateHoldings: Don’t Separate “0” Separate “1” We propose: Don’t Separate “0” Separate (2 columns) “1” Separate (3 columns) “2” Behavior: No change to Don’t Separate “0” or Separate (2 columns) “1”. IF Separate (3 columns) “2” AND IF loggedInLibrary is member of a library_group THEN alter /cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/detail.pl as follows: Display a third tab between the first “homebranch” tab and the third “all other items” tab. I know there is "Renewal" in the system preference names, but for translation, I think it would be best to have it in the description so that it's translated. Also, now that there are two, the sentences could be different to state what they are about. Currently, they both have this description: Use ___ as branchcode to store in the statistics table. OpacRenewalBranch could have this description: Use ___ as branchcode to store in the statistics table for renewals done in the OPAC.
