[Bug 34632] New: Patron Importing should be a background job
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34632 Bug ID: 34632 Summary: Patron Importing should be a background job Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: wizzyrea(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Hi friends, Now that we have a lovely queue for our background jobs, we should make the patron import use the queue to process those and store the outcome. This will help us avoid the 500/600/whatever you set apache timeouts experienced by libraries whenever they import batches of patrons of any significant size. Cheers, Liz -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 39164] New: Add max_statement_time to SQL report quieries

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39164 Bug ID: 39164 Summary: Add max_statement_time to SQL report quieries Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Reports Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: koha(a)trust-box.at Sometimes an unlucky report can create an issue for the DB server. To avoid that an easy to achieve fix would be to add a configurable timeout via max_statement_time to the query. This way the query would abort automatically if going over the time limit. [Bug 35902] New: Add English country and language codes as authorised values to be using in cataloguing MARC21 008 builder plugin

There is a link to a MARC Code List for Countries Positions 35 to 37 hold a three-character alphabetic code for language. There is a link to a MARC Code List for Languages. [Bug 27976] New: Add Granular options to CircConfirmItemParts
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27976 Bug ID: 27976 Summary: Add Granular options to CircConfirmItemParts Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lisetteslatah(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com It would be really nice if the "CircConfirmItemParts" added in bug 25261 wasn't all or nothing. We'd like to be able to force confirm on kits, hotspots, and book club kits but not on DVDs and Audiobooks. All of these have materials specified in our catalog. Hitting confirm on each DVD and audio check in and out would make our workflows much slower, but we'd like to be able to do it for some items still. Maybe there could be an option in the item type setup to exclude item types from the confirmation? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 34643] New: Split CircConfirmItemParts for self-checkout and self-checkin

It makes sense to split CircConfirmItemParts into three prefs such that the feature can be enabled/disabled for SCO and SCI independently. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 39670] New: CircConfirmItemParts in SCO should allow option for blocking checkout or just warning patron

It would be nice if there was an option to confirm the circ parts, not just block. [Bug 30271] New: Allow distinct ILLHiddenRequestStatuses config for view from patron record
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30271 Bug ID: 30271 Summary: Allow distinct ILLHiddenRequestStatuses config for view from patron record Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com The system preference ILLHiddenRequestStatuses is great for hiding completed ILL requests from the main ILL request page (/cgi-bin/koha/ill/ill-requests.pl). It also applies to the view of ILL requests within a patron record (/cgi-bin/koha/members/ill-requests.pl). It'd be helpful if those two views could have distinct settings so one could easily hide completed requests from the full view but see them in a specific patron's history. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 39943] New: Add a separate PIN code field for accessing self service devices
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Sep '26

24 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39943 Bug ID: 39943 Summary: Add a separate PIN code field for accessing self service devices Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Authentication Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: lari.taskula(a)hypernova.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: dpavlin(a)rot13.org Some libraries allow their patrons to authenticate to a self-checkout or an access control device with a short pin number. While this is user-friendly and compatible with numpad devices, from a security standpoint it is not acceptable to have such a weak pin code as the patron account password outside library premises in OPAC on the public internet. It would be useful to separate a weaker PIN code field from the borrowers.password field. This weaker PIN code would only be used for SIP2 and possibly SCO/SCI access in a more restricted environment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
