[Bug 40013] New: Allow custom/plugable filtering options for OPAC ILL table
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Jun '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40013 Bug ID: 40013 Summary: Allow custom/plugable filtering options for OPAC ILL table Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tadeusz(a)sosnierz.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: pedro.amorim(a)openfifth.co.uk, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Switching the OPAC ILL table in https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39600 to client-side rendering gives us an opportunity to have plugins (or just using OPACUserJS) introduce custom filtering behaviour to the new table. All we need to allow this to happen is to have an editable additional_filters specified in there somewhere. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. It smells like a bug, though. I generated: * 1 item * 4 random patrons ($patron_1, ..., $patron_4) Placing 4 item-level holds one for each patron gives this results: ## priority = 1 Using the following snippet on the 4 patron holds (replacing `$patron_1` with the other patrons: ``` C4::Reserves::AddReserve( { branchcode => $library->branchcode, borrowernumber => $patron_1->borrowernumber, biblionumber => $item->biblionumber, priority => 1, itemnumber => $item->itemnumber, } ) ``` Priorities end up being (consistently): * 4 * 1 * 3 * 2 ## priority = undef Using the following snippet on the 4 patron holds: ``` C4::Reserves::AddReserve( { branchcode => $library->branchcode, borrowernumber => $patron_1->borrowernumber, biblionumber => $item->biblionumber, # priority => 1, itemnumber => $item->itemnumber, } ) ``` Priorities end up being (consistently): * 1 * 4 * 3 * 2 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. So libraries could easily update a batch of items with the same values within a save Item Template. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
