[Bug 40208] New: ILL requests documentation needed
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Jul '25

24 Jul '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40208 Bug ID: 40208 Summary: ILL requests documentation needed Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Documentation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: hebah(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: aude.charillon(a)openfifth.co.uk, philip.orr(a)lmscloud.de The Koha manual spells out the available ILL statuses, but the information is very bare bones. It is not clear which ones are mandatory, which can be skipped if not applicable to a library's workflow, what triggers some of them beyond the obvious like 'checked out,' or even the expected sequence of statuses in the lifetime of a request (is completed before checked out? that's confusing in the manual without explanation). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 40494] New: Display last seen date of items on the pending offline circulation actions page
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Jul '25

24 Jul '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40494 Bug ID: 40494 Summary: Display last seen date of items on the pending offline circulation actions page Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: emily.lamancusa(a)montgomerycountymd.gov Reporter: emily.lamancusa(a)montgomerycountymd.gov QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com Ideally, offline circulation files would be uploaded soon after the access issue is resolved, but sometimes a file doesn't get uploaded until several days later, whether through human error or for some other reason. In these cases, the items may have already changed status since the date of the offline circulation file, and processing that action may put the item in an incorrect state. For example, a patron checks out an item when Koha is down and returns it two days later. The offline circulation file, for whatever reason, is loaded the day after that. Processing that action now would check the item out to the patron's account, which would be incorrect as they have already returned it. It would be really helpful if the page displayed the last seen date of each item, so that staff can easily identify items that have been updated since the original transaction occurred, and make informed decisions about whether to process the transaction. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
