https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40815 Bug ID: 40815 Summary: Item Search -- Allow 1000 visible rows. Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: l.curanzy(a)newportlibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Created attachment 186446 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=186446&action=e… Image of dropdown menu that ends at 100. Right now, 100 is the max number of visible rows we can select from Item Search results in order to export to Item Batch Modification. This means, for 1,600 results, I need to export the results 16 times. 1000 is the max number of results that can be exported to Batch Modification at one time. Why not make this an option? If 1000 rows were an option in the dropdown menu (image attached). I would only have to export the Batch Modification 2 times. That's many fewer! Thanks for your consideration! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 35359] New: Granular Cataloging permissions

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=35359 Bug ID: 35359 Summary: Granular Cataloging permissions Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jzairo(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl This enhancement to permissions for cataloging would allow library staff to add brief bibs (less than full MARC cataloging) and attach items without allowing them to edit full MARC bibs and without involving the name authority file. 1 - Add a new field/value/permission for users - 'Cataloging level' 2 - Save this cataloging level in the DB when a user adds/edits/updates a bibliographic record 3 - If a record is saved with a higher level than the current user, the user will not be able to edit the bibliographic record 4 - Add to the details page an input/dropdown to allow adjusting the current level for a record - users will only be able to adjust the level to their current level or below 5 - When editing a record, a user of a higher level will have the option to save at their level, or retain the current level 6 - Cataloging levels will be reportable in the Koha reports module 7 - Cataloging levels will be visible on the record details page 8 - An interface will be provided for defining the allowed cataloging levels, allowing to specify as many levels as are needed and make it simple to assign these to a patron [i.e. Staff member]. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29674 Bug ID: 29674 Summary: Syspref autoBarcode add just <branchcode> Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: System Administration Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: joseanjos(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com The System Preference autoBarcode have this option: <branchcode>yymm0001 It would be very useful to our Library if there we have the option just <branchcode> The other part of the barcode it would be manually inserted. The reason is to avoid mistakes because our School Librarians always forget to start barcode with <branchcode>. Thank you very much -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 40842] New: Hyperlinks for Corporate authors only searches the term in subfield $a
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 19 Sep '25

19 Sep '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40842 Bug ID: 40842 Summary: Hyperlinks for Corporate authors only searches the term in subfield $a Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jeremy.evans(a)ukhsa.gov.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org If I click on the hyperlink for a Corporate Author (110 or 710) in a single record or search results view it only searches the entry from subfield $a. For example if the record has an entry such as: $aGreat Britain. $bHealth and Safety Executive Clicking on the hyperlink currently in 24.11 only searches for "Great Britain" which brings up a very large number of results are are not relevant and from other unrelated Government bodies. Ideally, the hyperlinks would be split so that clicking on "Great Britain" would search for that term in $a. In addition, clicking on "Health and Safety Executive" would search for the matching combined phrase from $a and $b The same treatment may be needed for 111/711 entries. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 24868] New: When CircControl or ReservesControlBranch are enforced based on item location limits are enforced per library

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24868 Bug ID: 24868 Summary: When CircControl or ReservesControlBranch are enforced based on item location limits are enforced per library Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com Here's the situation: - Library has Branch A and Branch B - Library has ReservesControlBranch set to enforce based on item home library - Library has circ rule for all branches / all patrons / itype DVD that has max of 1 hold allowed - Patron is allowed to place 1 hold on a DVD from Branch A AND 1 hold on a DVD from Branch B This same logic applies to other parts of the circ and fine rules that are enforcing counts - holds per day, current checkouts allowed, total current checkouts allowed, maximum holds allowed, etc. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
