[Bug 41208] New: Log viewer should use an API or limit max results per search
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 07 May '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41208 Bug ID: 41208 Summary: Log viewer should use an API or limit max results per search Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 25.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Tools Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Koha's log viewer loads all results at one time into a datatable. Large systems can have potentially hundreds of millions of rows. An unconstrained search can easily use up all the RAM even on systems with dozens of gigbytes of memory. Koha should either have a limit of the query and encourage users to limit their query further if the full results cannot be displayed, or we should use the API for paginated results. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 34198] New: Interface to define relational rules for MARC fields that use authorised values
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 May '26

06 May '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34198 Bug ID: 34198 Summary: Interface to define relational rules for MARC fields that use authorised values Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: new feature Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: aleisha(a)catalyst.net.nz QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl We have a case where a set of MARC tags use authorised values i.e. 902$a, 902$b, 902$c, 902$d. Each of these subfields will use different authorised values. We'd like the authorised values displayed for 902$b to change depending on how 902$a is set. For example, if 902$a is set to a specific value, then the irrelevant options for 902$b should be hidden so they can't be selected. This might go on i.e. the values for 902$c are then dependent on the setting of 902$b. These rules would need to be editable by the library. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 42186] New: Add more fields to patron search
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 May '26

06 May '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42186 Bug ID: 42186 Summary: Add more fields to patron search Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Patrons Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: philip.orr(a)lmscloud.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com The patron search results table shows fields like amount of checkouts and fines. But you can't search for those fields from the patron search. We should add at least the fields that are displayed in the results table anyway into the patron search. Also it would be nice to search some fields as a date range, e.g. wanting to find patrons from a certain age to a certain age. So for instance, in the range from dateofbirth >= X to dateofbirth <= Y. Or to find patrons with an expiry date in a certain range. Like "whose cards expired more than three years ago". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 40340] New: Backslashes next to a subfield ($) breaks staging

Most commonly, matching on 245$a (title or title-cover). For instance, in the attached file, there is a backslash right before $h =245 00$aKnights of the black earth \$h[Book] If you have 245 as matching rule, the import batch will fail. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 23456] New: Show 'date last seen' for items requested in Holds Queue
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 May '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=23456 Bug ID: 23456 Summary: Show 'date last seen' for items requested in Holds Queue Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: sally.healey(a)cheshiresharedservices.gov.uk QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com It would be very useful to view the contents of items.datelastseen in the Holds Queue. Ideally, this information would be presented in its own column so it could be sorted. Some fields from the items table are already called in the itemsloop, so it appears that the tables are already joined (e.g. items.barcode is already presented in the Holds Queue). This is something that our staff request repeatedly as it would help them to prioritise their searches in busy libraries (where the Holds Queue can run to hundreds of items). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
