[Bug 43563] New: Course reserves can set an item homebranch and holdingbranch to NULL

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43563 Bug ID: 43563 Summary: Course reserves can set an item homebranch and holdingbranch to NULL Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P5 - low Component: Course reserves Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: andrew(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- When adding an item to a course in the course reserves module, one can set the item's homebranch and/or holdingbranch to NULL. This causes numerous problems for as long as the item is connected to the course and the course is open -- the holdings table won't load on the bib record, build_holds_queue will die if there are holds on the record, etc. to recreate: - Have an item with both homebranch and holdingbranch values - create an active course - add your item to the course, in the form to do so check the boxes for homebranch and holdingbranch but leave the dropdowns for each set to blank, click save - open the bib your item is from - get error "something went wrong when loading your table" - holdings table never loads - use a SQL report to confirm homebranch and holdingbranch are null for your item We should not allow users to set a null homebranch or holdingbranch when adding to a course. One could set a null itype in this same fashion if the bib to which one's item is attached didn't have a 942$c -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43562] New: Add item non-public note to acquisitions basket order display
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 17 Sep '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43562 Bug ID: 43562 Summary: Add item non-public note to acquisitions basket order display Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: Laura.escamilla(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- When viewing an acquisitions basket, staff would like to be able to see the non-public note associated with items linked to each order line. For EDI orders, information may be supplied by the vendor and mapped into the item's Non-public note (items.itemnotes_nonpublic). Currently, this information can be viewed on the individual item record, but it is not available from the basket's Orders table. The basket already provides options to display/add the order's internal and vendor notes. It would be useful to also expose the associated item's non-public note with the order information. Use case: A library receives processing instructions through EDI. For example, a vendor-supplied value may be mapped from MARC 970$x into the item's Non-public note. Staff processing the acquisitions basket need to see those instructions while reviewing the order without navigating to each individual item record. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14604 --- Comment #8 from Kyle M Hall (khall) <kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com> --- Created attachment 206196 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=206196&action=e… Bug 14604: Process offline circulation actions in the background This patch makes the Process button on the pending offline circulation actions page enqueue a background job rather than send one synchronous ajax request per action. Test Plan: 1) Apply this patch 2) Restart all the things! 3) Upload a Koha offline circulation ( .koc ) file with a few hundred actions in it A file that works with default koha-testing-docker data is attached to the ticket. 4) Go to Circulation > Pending offline circulation actions 5) Click "Check all", then click "Process" 6) Note the page comes back right away instead of locking up the browser! 7) Note the actions you selected are now listed as "Queued" and can no longer be checked! 8) Follow the "View detail of the enqueued job" link 9) Note the job reports how many actions succeeded, and lists the date, action, barcode, card number and result of every one of them! 10) Go back to Circulation > Pending offline circulation actions 11) Note the actions that were processed are gone from the list 12) Check a couple of the remaining actions and click "Delete" 13) Note they are gone and the number deleted is reported!
