Or at least as long as the session. Then Koha would remember the columns selected by the user and they wouldn't have to be redefined in each different record? This would be helpful when a suggestion is made for a title the library already owns or when a library is using the suggestions module without specifically generating bibs/orders from the suggestions in acquisitions. Further, it could help lead to generating holds from suggestions. They can do this using the delete_patrons.pl script. The script does not delete patrons that have: 1) items on loan; 2) money owing; 3) money in credit; 4) guarantees attached. 1) can be dealt with using longoverdue.pl and 2) with writeoff_debts.pl. However, there is nothing to write off credits as in 3). If you turn on DisplayMultiItemHolds and do the same, the item is selected via a checkbox input which is not selected by default. Steps to recreate: - Turn on DisplayMultiItemHolds - Find or create a bib record with a single holdable item - Go to the record in the OPAC and select "Place hold" Expected: - The only option in the items table is selected, because there is no other choice for users. Actual: - The single item is not selected so users must click the checkbox input. I can imagine two solutions: 1) auto-select the checkbox if there's only one item, 2) actually revert to the old behavior where it's a radio button input.
