[Bug 39157] New: Rotating collections transfers don't show in Transfers to receive report
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Feb '25

18 Feb '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39157 Bug ID: 39157 Summary: Rotating collections transfers don't show in Transfers to receive report Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: caroline.cyr-la-rose(a)inlibro.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design. I've never used this tool much, and it's not working as I'm expecting. I noticed that when I do manual transfers they show up in the destination library's "Transfers to receive" report. However, if I transfer a rotating collection, there is nothing in "Transfers to receive". To recreate: 1. Go to Tools > Rotation collections 2. Click 'New collection' 3. Enter a title for the collection 4. Click 'Submit' 5. Click 'Return to rotating collections home' 6. Click 'Actions' > 'Manage items' 7. Enter a barcode (e.g. 9999000005417) 8. Click 'Submit' 9. Click 'Transfer' 10. Choose 'Midway' (or another library that is not the item's current library) 11. Click 'Transfer collection' 12. Switch library to Midway 12.1. Click 'Koha Centerville' at the top right of the screen 12.2. Choose 'Set library' 12.3. Choose 'Midway' 12.4. Click 'Submit' 13. Go to Circulation > Transfers to receive --> Nothing in the list. I would have expected to see all the items from the rotating collection here -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

You need to have an ldap server containing patron informations configured in Koha. 1. Apply patch and update database. 2. Check that the new system preference SearchCardnumberWithLDAP has been added and set as 'never'. 3. Choose a patron who exists in your ldap server but not in Koha. (you can delete an existing patron from Koha if needed) 4. Search for the patron by it's cardnumber in the following locations. Do not choose from the dropdown list, use the submit button. - circ/circulation.pl - circ/article-request.pl - reserve/request.pl - members/member.pl both at the top and in the filter box - any page using common/patron_search.tt, for example adding a guarantor with the members/guarantor_search.pl popup => Should return cardnumber/patron not found or no results 5. Change SearchCardnumberWithLDAP to 'if not found locally'. 6. Repeat step 4. => The patron should be added to Koha. 7. Edit the patron and change any of the existing information. 8. Repeat step 4. => The patron has not been updated (the change made in step 7 is still there) 9. Change SearchCardnumberWithLDAP to 'always'. 10. Repeat step 4. => The patron has been updated. Change made in step 7 has been rewritten and patron informations is the same as in step 6. 11. Try searching for a patron who doesn't exist in Koha and has a nonexistant branch on the LDAP server. An error message should appear accompanying the absence of results. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 33745] New: Speed up Koha::Object attribute accessors
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 18 Feb '25

18 Feb '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33745 Bug ID: 33745 Summary: Speed up Koha::Object attribute accessors Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org In Bug 32060 object accessor methods surprisingly turned out to have a not huge, but significant negative effect on performance. By dynamically/lazily creating accessor subroutines in AUTOLOAD, which on subsequent calls will be called directly instead of AUTOLOAD accessing/setting an object attribute will become about 7 times faster. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 36441] New: Improve performance of Item::is_bundle

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36441 Bug ID: 36441 Summary: Improve performance of Item::is_bundle Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: glasklas(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org For a biblio with a large number of holdings (which could be the case for serials for example) Item::is_bundle is one of the main culprits in terms of performance. I know it's usually frowned upon substituting DBIx queries with the DBI-equivalent, but think there are few other option in this case and should be very unlikely to cause any future regressions. Attached before and after flamegraphs to illustrate the difference in performance. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 26884] New: overdue_notices.pl

[Bug 39150] New: Should borrowers.contacttitle be removed?
