[Bug 38606] New: Suggestion title search returns 500 error
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 Dec '24

06 Dec '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38606 Bug ID: 38606 Summary: Suggestion title search returns 500 error Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 23.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jonathan.field(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org If you create a basket and add an orderline from a suggestion, you get a suggestions search bar at the top which allows you to search by title, author and publisher. Author and publisher search fine but title returns a 500 error. The logs suggest the title in the SQL query is not unique DBIx::Class::Storage::DBI::_dbh_execute(): DBI Exception: DBD::mysql::st execute failed: Column 'title' in where clause is ambiguous at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/Objects.pm line 401 title is, of course, in both the suggestions table and the borrowers table, the query doesn't seem to make this distinction. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 38535] New: Edit record page displays item type even when biblioitems.itemtype is NULL
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 Dec '24

06 Dec '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38535 Bug ID: 38535 Summary: Edit record page displays item type even when biblioitems.itemtype is NULL Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 22.11 Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: david.liddle(a)wycliff.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com This behavior was revealed due to a misconfiguration of Koha to MARC mappings, in which 942$c was associated with items.itype. For any record edited after the change, the value of biblioitems.itemtype was changed to NULL. The issue came to our attention when staff noticed that records' details display pages showed neither the item type image nor the item type description. However, the edit record page (somehow) continued to display its correct item type. Updating the item type on this page, despite an apparently successful save action, did not change the value of biblioitems.itemtype; it remained NULL. The behavior caused much confusion among the staff until the error was traced back to the misconfiguration. An UPDATE action on biblioitems.itemtype could restore the correct value, but a subsequent edit of the record would return the value to NULL. Correcting the Koha to MARC mapping restored proper function. Thanks for reading! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 11582] Have same display/hidden options for authority subfields like bibliographic subfields
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 06 Dec '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11582 Juliet Heltibridle <jheltibridle(a)rcplib.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |jheltibridle(a)rcplib.org --- Comment #3 from Juliet Heltibridle <jheltibridle(a)rcplib.org> --- We would like to see this improvement to the authority types as well. At the moment, if you add a new authority record, only the mandatory fields are uncollapsed. If we were to add the same visibility options that are part of the marc frameworks, that would greatly help when creating new authorities. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

It could be in the existing Edit button options, but I'd prefer a new button that only appears when one has used a template. It should open the notice in a new tab. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.
