When pasted into the browser the item search form will be prefilled. The item search form submission still gets it's parameters from the form. Test plan: 1. Apply patch 2. Try some item searches (try searches using the '+ New field' button too) 3. On the results page click the 'Copy shareable link' button 4. Paste the link into the browser and hit enter 5. Notice the item search form is filled out exactly as you did earlier 6. Click 'Search' and confirm the results are as you would expect 7. Click 'Edit search', modify the search and search again 8. Test the 'Copy shareable link' button again 9. Test pasting the example link below 10. With default ktd data the search will return one result for: Intermediate Perl / Schwartz, Randal L. http://localhost:8081/cgi-bin/koha/catalogue/itemsearch.pl?homebranch_op=%3…'Reilly%2C&c=and&f=publicationyear&op=like&q=2006&c=and&f=title&op=not%20like&q=Javascript%20%3A&c=and&f=author&op=not%20like&q=Carlson%2C%20Lucas.&itemcallnumber_from=&itemcallnumber_to=&issues_op=%3E&issues=&datelastborrowed_op=%3E&datelastborrowed=&format=shareable Sponsored-by: CLAMS Signed-off-by: David Nind <david(a)davidnind.com> -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 15854] New: Possible race condition for sending renewal notices
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 01 Aug '24

01 Aug '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=15854 Bug ID: 15854 Summary: Possible race condition for sending renewal notices Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Notices Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Renewal notices are sent as digests - all renewed items are collected in one e-mail that is sent out with the process_messagequeue. We have a library, where sometimes this doesn't work. Instead of one single e-mail notice to the patron for one 'process_messagequeue' interval, multiple renewal notices are generated. The majority of e-mails is generated correctly. Looking at the code, this is about how it works: - AddRenewal is exectuted per item and calls - SendCirculationAlert which calls - C4::Message->find_last_message to help decide if a new notice has to be generated or an existing one can be amended In order to test this, you need: - EnhancedMessagingPreferences - Check-out notice checked for the patron you test with - RenewalSendNotice activated - A notice called RENEWAL As I see no problem in the logic so far, I think it could be a race condition where find_last_message doesn't find an existing notice (yet)? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 13342] Not logged in user can place a review/comment as a deleted patron
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 01 Aug '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13342 --- Comment #5 from Alexandre Noel <alexandre.noel(a)inlibro.com> --- Hi, thank you for your reply and advice! I don't really understand why it's giving you an error 403, because I tried again on main (v24.06) and can't seem to get this error with or without the patch. I don't use the KTD, so maybe it would work without using it? Anyway, as long as the user can't post the comment, it's fine because that's what we want to do. Also, thank you for letting me know that there is a chat for the community. You can reach me at @alexandre.nl -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
