When you send an empty search, the empty list will show, saying nothing was defined. That's not correct. I think it would be better to exclude them from search or add a note instead that they cannot be searched for. One can create a club for a given author and then use it to place holds for interested patrons on all new titles by that author. It would be really helpful if Koha could be configured to prompt the user to place those club holds when creating/updating titles for the club author. It would also be helpful if the club could somehow be inherently tied to the author so one wouldn't have to select the correct club out of a list of authors. Perhaps we could store a club_id in the author authority somewhere? If the issuing rule's limitation is lower than maxreserve, the opac-reserve page shows a message saying you cannot place any more holds but the explanatory message does not show. To reproduce: 0) Set MaxReserve to a high value (50 is default); 1) Set an issuing rule's "Holds allowed" to a low number (1 or 2); 2) Place as many holds as you can (for the corresponding (categorycode, itype, branchcode, etc). When you reach the maximum allowed by the issuing rule, you'll see a message telling you cannot place any more holds, but the explanatory message saying that you cannot place more than %d holds will not show. The only option is to either add a separate message referring to a previous message, or delete the message and create a new one with the content. It would be a great benefit to be able to edit a message to add supplemental/updated info within the same message. Ideally, the original creation info (borrower, date, branch) would be kept, and another set of data (borrower, date, branch) added when the message is added on to. For instance, original message is: 10/22/2022 East Library ( bwssupport ) "Please check address - mail was returned" and when I edit the message, it now says 10/22/2022 East Library ( bwssupport ) "Please check address - mail was returned" 10/25/2022 East Library ( djones ) "Spoke to patron - they will bring in updated info" all within one message. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
