The remaining problems are related to the jquery library we use: https://jqueryvalidation.org/email-method/ one path for solving it, could be trying to extract the regex from Email::Address and override the one in the jQuery library with it. To test: - Catalog records with various combinations of 8xx series added entry fields. Subfield a, t, n, p and v are the most important. - Verify the display in OPAC and staff is not great. - Apply the patch. - Verify the display in OPAC and staff is improved. I've tried to rephrase the note, but it gets complicated fast and doesn't look nice in the template with too much additional text.
