I don't have capacity to work on this at the moment and would recommend a different approach anyway. I'll reset this bug report so someone else can take it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 42951] New: Add REST API endpoints for retrieving cover images
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Jun '26

30 Jun '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42951 Bug ID: 42951 Summary: Add REST API endpoints for retrieving cover images Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: tomascohen(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com Depends on: 42804 Target Milestone: --- This bug adds GET endpoints for fetching cover images (both full and thumbnail) via the REST API, replacing the CGI catalogue/image.pl script. Endpoints to implement: Staff side: GET /api/v1/cover_images/{cover_image_id} GET /api/v1/biblios/{biblio_id}/cover_images/{cover_image_id} Public side: GET /api/v1/public/biblios/{biblio_id}/cover_image GET /api/v1/public/items/{item_id}/cover_image All endpoints accept a 'thumbnail' query parameter (boolean) to return the thumbnail version instead of the full-size image. Responses are raw binary with appropriate Content-Type (image/png, image/jpeg, etc.) and caching headers. Depends on bug 42804 which migrates upload and delete to the REST API. Referenced Bugs: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42804 [Bug 42804] Replace svc/cover_images and tools/upload-cover-image.pl with REST API -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 42950] New: Add ability to copy subfields to a position/range in control fields using MARC modification templates
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 30 Jun '26

30 Jun '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42950 Bug ID: 42950 Summary: Add ability to copy subfields to a position/range in control fields using MARC modification templates Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: sbrown(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Target Milestone: --- It would be helpful if MARC modification templates allowed libraries to copy subfields to a specific position in control fields. For instance, libraries may want to copy 260$c or 264$c to position 07-10 in 008. Recent/upcoming enhancements to MARC modification templates have similar functions, but not exactly that (Bug 28915 - MARC modification templates should allow specification of a position or range within a control field and Bug 36515 - Amend MARC modification templates so control fields can be copied to subfields). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
