[Bug 42883] New: koha-dpkg docker image still builds with Debian 11
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 09 Oct '26

09 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42883 Bug ID: 42883 Summary: koha-dpkg docker image still builds with Debian 11 Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Packaging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cornelius.hertfelder(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: mtj(a)kohaaloha.com Target Milestone: --- Hello, this docker image used for building custom Debian packages contains a build.sh which still uses Debian 11 Bullseye. This is independent of the Debian version of the docker image itself. https://hub.docker.com/r/koha/koha-dpkg/This is linked here in the first paragraph. >From build.sh: pbuilder create --use-network yes --distribution bullseye --mirror http://debian.csail.mit.edu/debian/ pbuilder execute --use-network yes --save-after-exec /pbuilder.sh --basetgz /var/cache/pbuilder/base.tgz Simply replacing bullseye with bookworm does not work, the build process fails. The deb package created with this command still works under Debian 12 bookworm, but I think it's not a clean solution. Wouldn't it be better to provide a .gitlab-ci.yml which can build the whole thing automatically? And avoid this pbuilder-container-inside-docker-container thing?` Regards Cornelius -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 9828] Zebra indexes useless subfields in UNIMARC 6XX
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 09 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=9828 --- Comment #62 from Mathieu Saby <mathsabypro(a)gmail.com> --- That was a while ago; I don't remember... Maybe things have changed since then. But it might still be worth taking a look at this configuration in Zebra and Elasticsearch, and also see how the equivalent information is handled in MARC21. Can we keep the ticket open for the record ? I opened a more generic bug last year for Zebra Unimarc https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39994 but I won't work on that as long as more fundamental bugs are not pushed (begining with https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38336) as I don't want to spend too much time rebasing files. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 43753] New: Filtering Shelving location and Collection in Holdings table uses authorized value code instead of description

This can lead to situation where persons filtering the table does not find the information they are looking for as codes can differ from the actual description they see in the table. How to reproduce: 1. Make a search, for example Computer 2. Open a bibliographic record (with several items) 3. Click Show filters from the Holdings table 4. Write the whole description of the shelving location or collection to the column's filtering box 5. Notice that you will not get any results and the table becomes emtpy What should happen: Filtering should work with the description as that is what the user sees and not necessarily know what the code behind the description is. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. Once a hold is placed the workflow is complete. We'd love to be able to run this script daily so that when the title arrives via our edi orders, a hold is automatically placed and less work for Acquisition staff. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
