[Bug 13680] Items list on edit items page separates add items form from header and sidebar
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 31 May '18

31 May '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13680 --- Comment #11 from Owen Leonard <oleonard(a)myacpl.org> --- Created attachment 75706 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=75706&action=ed… Bug 13680 - Items list on edit items page separates add items form from header and sidebar This is a proof of concept patch showing how I would improve this interface with a modal window for the item add form. The "views" menu is converted to a button menu. That goes against interface guidelines, but I don't see how else to handle it without taking up valuable screen real estate. This patch isn't complete--it doesn't handle edit operations. I just wanted to show the layout changes and how the "Add" button triggers the modal. Feeback welcome. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 20845] New: Limiting holds seen in OPAC to home library
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 31 May '18

31 May '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=20845 Bug ID: 20845 Summary: Limiting holds seen in OPAC to home library Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: bwsdonna(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com A consortium would like patrons to see, through the OPAC, the holds queue for only their home library. When a patron, or staff member, places a hold on an item it can be misleading. For popular books, say the newest James Patterson, when the hold is placed it will say that the patron is 39th in line, or some ridiculous amount. In truth they may only be number 3 or 4 inline as the rest of the holds are from other libraries, and these books only circulate within the home location. The staff know how to figure this out, but the patrons struggle. For a consortium, we would like to be able to limit the number of holds seen by the patron to only those at their branch, for items that only circulate within that branch. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. Testing with existing Z39.50 authority sources configured: - On the authorities home page and the authorities search results page, the "New authority" menu should have a "New from Z39.50" link. - View the details for an authority record. The menus should appear as described above. Test each option. Remove all Z39.50 authority servers and test again. The "New from Z39.50" link should no longer appear. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
