This statement is accurate, but it is lacking detail about the patron account creation. For example, the patron account creation does not happen until the account is verified. Staff are not able to find the account from the staff interface until verified, preventing troubleshooting if there is a typo in the email address. We tracked it down to the change in bug 38516. The error from the logs is: Can't locate object method "to_string" via package "PDF::API2" at /usr/share/koha/lib/Koha/pdfformat/layout2pagesde.pm line 250. The problem is that to_string and from_string only exist since 2.0.42. See change log: https://metacpan.org/dist/PDF-API2/changes - Renamed several methods in the PDF::API2 base class: - end -> close - open_scalar -> from_string - stringify -> to_string - pages -> page_count ... We are using packages with Debian 11. This seems to include 2.0.38. Koha names the minimal required version as 2 on the about page. I believe this means more libraries are probably affected. To replicate:* 1. Add an order to a basket for a vendor (Acquisitions > Manage orders > click search > select My Basket (for My Vendor) > Add to basket). 2. Close the basket (select 'Close basket' from the basket page). 3. Receive shipments for the vendor (Acquisitions > Manage orders > click search (shows My Basket for My Vendor) > Receive shipments > Enter an invoice number > Next). 4. Click receive for an item in My Basket. 5. Note the formatting issues on the accounting details form for these fields: - Retail price: no space after value and the opening bracket; no space between comma and tax exclusive (or tax inclusive) - Budgeted cost: no space after value and the opening bracket 6. On another tab, edit the vendor so that for 'list prices' and 'invoice prices' the 'include tax' option is selected. 7. Refresh the tab for receiving items. 8.
