To test: 0. On a fresh KTD 1. Enable and open the cataloguing advanced editor 2. Click on 'Advanced >>' on the left column => FAIL: Only non-SRU targets are displayed 3. Apply this patch and reload 4. Repeat 2 => SUCCESS: SRU server displayed! => SUCCESS: No authority server is displayed due to the change i.e. behavior remains unchanged besides SRU support 5. Choose the sample SRU server and make a search => SUCCESS: Things work 6. However, it is displaying and linking to ALL cancelled holds, not just for your branch. This is inconsistent with the behavior of other alerts. We either need a second line for just the branch, just like the material requests, or we need it to be consistent with patron modifications. I know we've also had partners ask about this functionality following the same logic as I did. Your test plan and patch only really works if specific branches are more permissive than the general rule. I'd expect it to work more like the check that compares patron/item type rules to the default rules per branch, first it checks the most specific (branch/item type/patron type) match, then gets less specific (branch default) then if it hasn't hit that limit the global limit. To recreate: 1. Use ktd --dbshell to add a bunch of random suggestions with different statuses: INSERT INTO suggestions (suggestedby, suggesteddate, title, status) SELECT borrowernumber, '2025-10-29', firstname, ELT(0.5 + RAND() *6, 'ASKED', 'CHECKED', 'ACCEPTED', 'REJECTED', 'ORDERED', 'AVAILABLE' ) from borrowers; 2. If you are lucky you will have one tab with more than 20 records and one with less than 20, if not use the ui to adjust the statuses so that you do 3. Click on a tab with more than 20 records 4. Click Next > to go to the second page 5. Notice in local storage now DataTables_acqui_suggestions_suggestions.start is now 20 6. Click on a tab with fewer than 20 records 7. Notice the table says something illogical like: Showing 21 to 11 of 11 entries 8. And no records load :( 9. Click <<First to fix the pagination issue 10. Notice DataTables_acqui_suggestions_suggestions.start is now 0 again 11. Given the recent enhancement adding the status column to the bookings table, it would probably be preferable to change the status and keep the booking in the table.
