Along those lines, an option of how many overdues or how long the oldest overdue is overdue, perhaps both, before workflow is interrupted would also be preferable. There is a jquery pagination plugin, but using it would still require the page to load all the page links before they could be hidden and reformatted with javascript. This is very misleading. I suggest 2 steps which can be taken immediately: First, take out the left-hand menu and replace it with a horizontal menu below the breadcrumb menu. Second, remove the overflow property from the table of item information. Having up to three scrollbars for the page is too much.
