When checking in that same item, the spaces lead to an "item not found" message. This inconsistent behavior. Another example - a new library hand-typed their item barcodes into Koha with spaces (0 003 000 1234) and were able to check out the item to a patron using a scanner gun, but then could not check the item in when it was returned. If a library has enabled SSL encryption in the OPAC, Syndetics and LibraryThing links give error messages in Internet Explorer. The proposed fix is to add a syspref for OPAC SSL in use. Then check that syspref and pass the value to the OPAC template. If it is on, have the Syndetics and LibraryThing links use the https form of URL; otherwise, leave them at the http form of URL. We have setup the ability for our student management system to place files on the server. What I would like to see happen is a CRON job setup that picks up those files (currently 3 different groupings) and loads them automatically once a week. I also need some type of CRON that would also pickup the "code" files for the attributes and load that so the codes would have descriptions(teacher names) rather than the teacher ID number.
