On the advanced search page, we have options like Picture, Coded Fields, etc. It would be nice, if we could easily remove or add options, because we don't have pictures in our librairies. I have looked at the various pull down menus in advanced search, but have not found an option to limit to serials. We can limit search to all kinds of things, like fimographies and Braille books. Vendors can only be deactivated but still show up in search results. Although almost everything else in acq can be deleted (budgets, funds, orders (reopen + delete), im not sure it should be possible to delete vendors. When deselecting all items for batch editing, and then saving, the progress bar changes to NaN% and nothing happens. The line in question is part of GetNormalizedUPC: @fields = $record->field('024'); Called by VirtualShelves/Page.pm: $this_item->{'normalized_upc'} = GetNormalizedUPC($record,$marcflavour); Seems like there's several things that can be done here: 1. Remove titles from lists when they are deleted. The disadvantage here is that someone might have been using a list as a bibliography, for instance, and losing the title makes their information incomplete. To follow up: 2. Add error handling to VirtualShelves/Page.pm. Don't try to pull the full MARC data for a biblionumber which doesn't exist. Some choices for the display: a. Pretend nothing happened, title never existed b. Indicate that a title was removed, no information available. c. Indicate that a title was removed, pull basic info from deletedbiblio. 3. Add error handling to Koha.pm. Don't die if an empty record gets passed. It result in all packages being loaded (& compiled) on each page. This bugzilla entry will contain the work to remove as much as possible the dependancies That will be achieved through : * removing use C4::otherpackage and using require C4::otherpackage in the subs that need C4::otherpackage. Require is loaded at run time only. Most of the time, the C4::otherpackage is loaded everytime, just to be used once, in one sub (that is rarely used) * removing useless subs that use a C4::otherpackage::sub, because there are some Cleaning for each package will result in a patch, with a lot of comments/details/feedback. I then click on 'reports' from the menu and 'use saved' again - the filter is still selected. I had a mini panic attack that I had lost all of my reports before realizing what happened. Is there a way to not have that page hold on to the filter? I added over 3000 unique records ... Now I am adding 500 copy 2s - all have identical ISBNs. In staging, all records say no_match. I marked this major as I cannot continue till it is fixed or I find a workaround. Thanks!
