I think that marking a subfield mandatory should have the effect of "mandatory if applicable," which is used commonly in the MARC standards but can't be represented at present in Koha's MARC bibliographic frameworks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

There's going to be many more options and many more toggles / choices / more possibilities. It's doubtful this can be accommodated within the current smart-rules.pl page. So a new way to deal with the UI aspect of managing rules is in order. (to be continued with actual proposals: feel free to chime in) This part has been done. It uses a new module C4/IssuingRules.pm and jquery to display and help in organisation of the smart-rule. We received errors related to Template.pm missing a $key value. But when we edit the subscription, it's possible (and tempting) to type the content on several lines.
